Captain Jamie Heaslip, Mike Ross and Conor Murray are the only players selected who started last weekend's narrow defeat to South Africa.

The uncapped Ulster trio - inside centre Luke Marshall, wing Craig Gilroy and fly-half Paddy Jackson - have all been selected to face Fiji. 

"We know it will be a difficult test and this is a vote of confidence for the players we've picked," coach Declan Kidney said.

"We know they'll do a job and they've been training really well over the last two and a half weeks. We feel they deserve their go."

Ireland will face Argentina in the climax to their Guinness Series on Saturday week.

Ireland are as short as 1/66 to win the match outright but 10/11 to beat the handicap of 23 points with Paddy Power. Fiji are 14/1 to win the match and 10/11 with a 23 point head start.
