Ulster winger Craig Gilroy will win his first full cap for Ireland against Argentina in the Guinness Series International at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.


Gilroy replaces Andrew Trimble in the only change from the matchday squad that faced South Africa a fortnight ago.

The team will be captained by number 8 Jamie Heaslip for the third consecutive game in this month's Series.

Ireland XV to play South Africa: 15 Simon Zebo, 14 Tommy Bowe, 13 Keith Earls, 12 Gordon D'Arcy, 11 Craig Gilroy, 10 Jonathan Sexton, 9 Conor Murray; 1 Cian Healy, 2 Richardt Strauss, 3 Mike Ross, 4 Mike McCarthy, 5 Donnacha Ryan, 6 Peter O'Mahony, 7 Chris Henry 8 Jamie Heaslip.

Replacements: Sean Cronin, Dave Kilcoyne, Michael Bent, Donncha O’Callaghan, Iain Henderson, Eoin Reddan, Ronan O’Gara, Fergus McFadden.

Ireland are 4/9 favourites to win the match while the Pumas are 7/4 with the draw available at 22/1. In terms of handicap betting, Ireland are 10/11 (-5) while Argentina are 10/11 (+5). The handicap draw is a 20/1 shot.
