Political punters have reinstated their faith in President Barack Obama according to the latest odds from Ladbrokes.
Following Obama's feisty debate win in the early hours of Wednesday morning the firm have slashed his odds to 4/11 (from 1/2) with
Ladbrokes, allowing the Democrat to distance himself in the betting once again from his rival.
Of late the momentum has been for Mitt Romney, but as Obama re-established his dominance in second debate the Republican candidate has now been pushed out in the betting and given odds of 2/1 to come out victorious.
Jessica Bridge of
Ladbrokes told LiveSport.ie: "If Romney won the debate it could of made him favourite but unfortunately for the Republican his loss has left us with no choice but to slash Barack Obama as punters piled back into his chances."
She added: "It's safe to say if Obama wins their final debate in Florida it's game over for Romney."
Barack Obama 4/11
Mitt Romney 2/1
