The Gaelic Grounds in Limerick is the stage for Round four of the All-Ireland Qualifiers where Kerry will face beaten Munster finalists Clare for a place in the Quarter Finals.
Kerry come into this All-Munster clash as red hot favourites following their impressive 10-point win over Tyrone last weekend.
Paddy Power have installed the Kingdom as short as 1/50 beat Clare.
The Banner county could not have wished for a tougher draw. Micheal McDermott’s men are 14/1 to cause the biggest upset of the summer while the draw is 33/1.
With unfavorable odds in the win-draw-win market, many punters are having a look at the first goalscorer market for some value. Unsurprisingly, Kerry forwards dominate the top of the market with Colm Cooper 5/1 favourite with
Paddy Power to score a goal first while Kieran Donaghy – who netted for the first time this summer against Tyrone – is a 7/1 chance.
Free taker Bryan Sheehan is 9/1 to score first which maybe worth a bet considering his is the Kingdom’s penalty taker.
Although many see Clare as rank outsiders, captain Alan Clohessy believes they can pull off another shock following earlier defeating Limerick in the Munster championship.
"The week after the Cork game, we were a bit down after the result and the way things went," Clohessy told The Irish Sun. "But having looked at it, and looking forward to Kerry, we think we're in a good position.
"It's a big, big game but it's great to be getting ready for it and to have a go at the bigger teams. This is where we want to be - we've been knocked out in the first round of qualifiers long enough. And this is a massive opportunity to extend our season into August."
Kerry boss Jack O’Connor has opted to remain with the same 15 players that started against Tyrone with Darran O'Sullivan once again left on the bench.
History will also be made on Saturday evening when Tomas Ó Sé makes a record-breaking 82nd championship appearance, more than any player in the history of the football championship.
For Clare, Micheal McDermott has kept faith with the same side that lost the Munster football final to Cork.
