South Korea will be without midfielder Koo Jacheol for their crucial World Cup Qualifier clash with Uzbekistan on Tuesday.
Korea currently find themselves at the top of Group A in the fourth round of qualifying with six points having won their opening two matches.
Uzbekistan, on the other hand, are still chasing their first win and are in fourth place with just one point to their name after two games.
Koo Jacheol has picked up an ankle injury and has therefore not been selected for this clash and has also not travelled with the squad to Tashkent.
He suffered the injury while playing for his club Augsberg against Schalke last weekend and will be a huge blow to Korea’s attacking strategy.
South Korea coach Choi Kanghee said: “I feel sorry for his absence, but I'm not worried so much because there are many other players who can replace him.”
Korea’s two wins have been quite comfortable as they saw off Qatar 4-1 and Lebanon 3-0.
These two last shared a field in February of this year with Korea running out 4-2 winners and Bet365 are offering odds of 50/1 on it happening again.
South Korea are the favourites to win the game and can be backed at 6/5, while Uzbekistan are a 9/5 shot to win on home soil. The draw is available at 23/10.
