Manchester United are the current 5/2 favourites to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski this summer.
Reports in the English media on Sunday suggest that Sir Alex Ferguson will capture the Polish striker with a fee believed to be in the region of £13million considering Lewandowski only has two years left on his current contract.
Next in the betting is Tottenham Hotspur at 9/4 with
BetVictor to get the 23-year-old’s signature. Spurs currently have Jermain Defoe as their only recognized striker as talks continue to bring Emmanuel Adebayor to the club on a permanent basis.
Chelsea as almost believed to be in contention for Lewandowski and BetVictor have priced up the Champions League holders at 6/1 to sign the striker.
The Londoners are another club with a seemingly short supply of strikers with Fernando Torres and Daniel Sturrdige the only forwards that scored in the Premier League last season still at the club.
Other possible clubs for the Dortmund star striker are AC Milan (7/1), Arsenal (12/1) and Bayern Munich (12/1).
La Liga giants Barcelona (25/1) and Real Madrid (25/1) are not considered to be interested in bringing Lewandowski to Spain.
